On Saturday my dream came true! I got to see Formula 1 live and even bigger I got to see Michael Schumacher drive a formula 1 car right in front of me!!! It was like heaven on earth!!!
Heaven with some heavy warning signs :-)
On Saturday we first saw the morning practice...
Here comes Schumi :-)
The Red Bull team was there too... I think the driver is someone called Vettel but I don't really know who that is!!!
McLaren was there too
But the only team that really counts is Ferrari!!!
Between the morning practice and the qualifying we went to the other side of the track where they had all the shops and I even found Schumacher!!! I knew that he was big but I didn't expect that he would be THIS big!!! :-)
Gurchetan found the Ferrari shop...
I followed quickly and probably spent my entire Bali budget here!!! :-)
The red bag may be small but the things inside are worth a fortune!! With all the money spent on Ferrari stuff they should be able to build a pretty good car for next season!!
More shops but fewer people...
All the nice cars in Delhi came out to show their colors!! We saw two Jaguars and a Bentley as well!

Schumacher struggled to get a good lap in Q1 but finally made it to Q2...
I found three other students from IIMC (my school) at the track... Or maybe they found me...

Massa did not have the best weekend in India and went to far up on a curb and broke the suspension for his tire... He went of the track in a big cloud of dust but was not injured...
Sunday!!! Raceday and I'm ready like never before!!!

If qualifying sent me to seventh heaven then I don't really know where raceday sent me but it was a happy place!!!!

Quickly followed by Webber, Button and Alonso!
All the cars drives by one after another...
Our seats were on the back straight and this gave us several overtakings at the end of the straight!

My camera takes ok pictures but man do I want these two!!! I could take pictures of the man on the moon with this!!!
This is probably not the most fun job there is if you are afraid of highs :-) Let's just hope this guy doesn't look down!
At least he has an umbrella so he can do the Peter Pan thing if he falls down!
Massas bad weekend continues as he is overtaken by Hamilton...
And at the same time are pushed of the road by the same Hamilton...
Both drivers were able to continue the race but Massa later revisited the curb from Saturday and had to retire from the race with another broken suspender....
Mr Bean was not happy about the incident either and made this face which became a worldwide news story! :-)

Alonso finishes in third while Vettel wins and Buttons comes in second... Schumacher finishes in fifth which is good after starting 11th...
Sunset over the track as it is time to leave and go back home! My first Formula 1 race has come to an end and even though I couldn't head anything for a half hour or so it was still the best time of my life!! More F1 races to come!!!
