Yesterday I decided to take a little trip to New Market and see how my bargain skills would hold up!! I have to admit that even though I look like the biggest tourist ever with my pale skin and my red hair, I can still make a good bargain! :-)
Here are a few of the things that I bought! I can't show you all the things because some are gifts for special people at home!!
I'm used to people staring at me but the funniest thing happened when Bora and I went to buy some juice at a street stand.... Suddenly 6-7 people all came towards us screaming uncontrollably at us to come to their stand!!! I did what anyone else would do... I started laughing!!! What a welcome!!! But it would be awesome if I got the same reaction everytime I walked into a room!!!
The juice stand had two different prices for juice, 30 Rs for pure juice and 20 Rs for "non" pure...
I didn't really know what I would get for 20 Rs so I went for the saft bet and got pure juice!!!
After some serious shopping, Bora and I went to a Japanese restaurant for dinner! Nice food and the waiters was dressed up like 18th hundred british soldiers! :-)
